Berber Alphabet is a series of the 25 water color paintings on paper.
Those are the result of my traveling to Sahara, Tunis, in November 2005.
 Meeting with the Berber people in Sahara while back inspired me of studying
their ancient Alphabet: Tifinagh

Compare to the runic letters, which the Tifinagh' letters  strongly remind me of and which I was using in my earlier art works, the letters of Tifinagh posses some kind of geometric scripture which clears  ones  mind and, in some mysterious way, gives a hunch that everything is connected to everything else, both on the surface of the earth and the above. It seams to me that those letters, which look like they might had been originated from the prints in the sand,  posses  such a Heavenly proportions as they could be born in an outer magic space. The place where Heaven and Earth meet and embrace each other

That feeling I tried to express in a mathematical curves of Sahara sand, a sky patterns & a clean superior geometry of the Sign
